This year marks our 18th consecutive national journey. Kent Weber, Mission:Wolf
founder and director has lead this program in front of more than 500,000
people including:
• Government agencies-USFWS, NPS, NFS, BLM, USDA...
• Conservation groups-Sierra, Audubon, Nat'l Wildlife Fed....
• Universities-Harvard, Cornell, CU, ASU, UNM, UVM...
• Schools-Private, Public, Disabled, Colleges, Preschools...
• Clubs-Boy's & Girl's, 4-H, Scouts of America, Zoo's...
• Museums, Nature Centers, Libraries, Law Firms, Corporations...
• TV Specials include National Geographic, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN,
PBS, Mr. Rogers to the NBC Today Show, TV and Radio talk shows.
Each program is structured to accommodate individual audience needs
and interests. Our approach is straight forward - biological common
sense guides the education process.
Size of Audience
Groups of 10 to 5000 can be accommodated depending on the facility's
ability to seat people comfortably. Due to time limitations and high
interest we suggest audiences ranging from 50 to 500 per program.
Suggested Program Length
• Preschool to 3rd grade 25-40 min.
• 4th to 12th grade 45-75 min.
• University/ Public/ Private 60-120 min.
• Program length can be adjusted to fit individual schedules.
Funding
To travel long distances and provide efficient education program donations
must cover travel expenses. At any location a host is requested to set
up three events per day (two schools and an evening public event). For
daytime events we request a $700 donation per event. $1000 is suggested
for public events offered to the public for free. Public program hosts
that charge admittance to programs will split proceeds with M:W after
the initial fee is paid. Program funds are due at the end of the program(s).
Additional school programs at the same location will be offered at a
reduced fee. Bartering of materials or services may be considered. Fees
include a one year sponsorship of a wolf living at Mission:Wolf.
