Greenhouse

At Mission: Wolf, we strive to be as close to self-sufficient as possible. This even applies to our food. While it would be exceedingly difficult to  grow all of our own food, indoor growing space in a greenhouse and our community kitchen, and an outdoor vegetable garden provide us with freshly grown organic herbs and vegetables. This provides healthy, tasty additions to our diet, as well as reducing the amount of food we need to purchase to feed our staff. This can be especially helpful during the summer and fall: times when the output of our garden and greenhouse space are high, and we have numerous staff to help with summer projects and visitors.

In addition to the direct nutritional and financial benefits of growing our own food, the greenhouse and garden offer volunteers and students a great opportunity to learn about gardening and agriculture, and perhaps inspire people to grow some of their own foods at home.
